A series of videos in which I’ll attempt to create an entire musical arrangement from the sound of a creaking door, beginning with the first track and ending with a final mix. They’re not tutorials as such, more of a demonstration of the possibilities of using Ableton for sound design, but if you’d like more information about anything I’ve done by all means ask and I’ll be happy to reply
In part one I’ve cropped the clip into several sections, added warp markers and various effects, sliced audio to a new MIDI track, imported two Drum Racks and used Sampler to create rhythmic loops. In part two, I’ll begin working on sound to be used melodically.
