Ableton Live | Intro to quick sound creation

This short and sweet tutorial is aimed at the novices and maybe even intermediate users of Ableton Live. In this video, I show just how easy it is to create a basic sound with a bit of filter enveloping and stereo spread in Simpler. The process is quick and easy, and the sound has a bit of animation to make it fun to use while writing your tracks.

The point here is that you shouldn’t get bogged down in sound design decisions early on in the song writing process because it’s easy to lose focus and inspiration. Keep the sounds simple and distinguishable while you’re writing, and then come back later to add details and flourishes.
