A Concise Guide to the Gate
The gate can be used for a number of things including removing unwanted noises, creating cool stuttering effects, and lots more! This tutorial is perfect for beginners looking to learn what the parameters on the gate do, and how to put them into use.
First up we use a Drum Loop from our ‘Dirty South Drum Loops’ release and play with the parameters, and then start chopping out natural room ambience with a vocal sample from our Rasta Vocal Samples release.
